Wellness exam questions

How often should my pet have a wellness exam?

Most adult cats and dogs should have a wellness exam once a year. Senior pets and pets with ongoing health conditions often benefit from a visit every six months, since changes can happen quickly.

What happens at a wellness exam?

Your veterinarian checks your pet from head to tail, including temperature, pulse, body weight and coat. Depending on your pet’s age and lifestyle, we may recommend blood work, a urine test, a parasite test or vaccines.

Can I book a wellness exam online?

Yes. Book any time through Vello, or call (905) 331-1870 or text (289) 816-4399 during clinic hours. New clients are welcome.
