Dental Care
Pet dental care questions
How often should my pet have a dental cleaning?
We check your pet’s teeth at every wellness exam. Many cats and dogs need a professional cleaning about once a year, and some small breeds need one more often. Your veterinarian will recommend timing based on what they see.
Does my pet need anaesthesia for a dental cleaning?
Yes. General anaesthesia lets us clean below the gumline, take dental x-rays and check every tooth safely and without stress for your pet. Our team monitors your pet throughout the procedure.
What are the signs of dental disease in pets?
Watch for bad breath, loose teeth, red or bleeding gums, drooling, facial swelling or trouble eating. If you notice any of these, book a dental check.
